Tony Comerford, Ph.D., President & CEO
Dr. Comerford entered the addiction treatment field after completing a fellowship in advanced leadership studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He received a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from the Harold Abel School of Psychology at Capella University where he also completed a post-graduate program in mental health care management and utilization. Dr. Comerford is licensed in New Jersey as a psychologist, professional counselor, and clinical alcohol and drug counselor. He has served as an adjunct faculty member at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Georgian Court University, and the Rutgers University Center for Alcohol Studies.
David Roden, LCSW, LCADC, Vice President & COO
A licensed clinical social worker and clinical alcohol and drug counselor, Dave is widely recognized as an expert in the care of co-occurring disorders. In 1998 he was the recipient of the Middlesex County Addictions Association “Counselor of the Year” award and regularly serves in consulting roles with the Administrative Office of the Courts, Juvenile Probation and governmental Professional Advisory Committees. Dave has also been a member of state task forces assigned to formulate quality standards for New Jersey’s addiction treatment facilities, develop standardized outcome measures for adolescent care, and to improve the care and services provided to children involved with the court system.
